To keep our community safe during the Covid-19 Pandemic Pause, we modified our traditional, in-person 5K race/walk to a virtual walk/run that took place over 54 days. The virtual event was a huge success. This year, we’re pleased to announce we’re repeating the virtual event as well as bringing back the in-person race/walk.
to Duck Dash/Family Duck Waddle
left to run or walk 54 miles for the Virtual Hero Walk/Run
In this traditional race/walk, compete against some of the best distance runners in New York State, or go for a personal best. Or bring family and friends out for a leisurely walk in a beautiful setting! Sign up as a solo act, form your own team, or join an existing team.
You’ll be racing (or strolling) against the backdrop of the Mohawk River in downtown Schenectady. Afterwards, attend the awards ceremony with our celebrity emcee and DJ, try your luck at a raffle, browse vendor kiosks for support services and products, or enjoy the many great restaurants, brew pubs, and shops nearby – or head out to Rivers Casino for the afternoon!
