Be our hero during our annual Hero Walk & Run for autism!

Saturday, September 21st, 2019 from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Schenectady Central Park

Put on your capes and support children and adults with autism in the Capital Region! The Autism Society of the Greater Capital Region, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has served as the region’s premier source of education, advocacy, and support for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), their families, friends, and professionals. This family-friendly event includes entertainment, food, and exhibitors. The Walk is the Autism Society of the Greater Capital Region’s primary source of income. The funds raised here, stay here!

For the past fifteen years, the Autism Society of the Greater Capital Region has hosted a walk and running race to bring our community together. In recent years, we’ve adopted a superhero theme to celebrate the triumphs of the children and adults with Autism whom we love and support. Families make creative costumes, design custom shirts, and enjoy a fun and active morning in the park.
